Crimson crisp is exactly how it sounds. Deep red-purple skin reveals sugar-sweet, subacid, crunchy, yellow flesh, and the flavour beating out that of Honeycrisp. Tree grows upright with a rounded canopy. These crisp, scrumptious apples will keep for up to 6 months in proper storage. Ripens early to mid-September. Scab resistant, but is susceptible to powdery mildew.
