Variegated Ferocactus wislizenii ‘Packer Barrel’
Packer Barrels are truly special and rare Green and Gold variegated form of fishhook barrel. No two are alike. All have different markings, but all are Green Bay Packer’s green & gold. They are small to medium sized, ball-shaped cacti with notched ribs, short, bristly gray spines, and one longer reddish hooked spine. Once mature, plants form flowers during spring to summer and are golden yellow to a fiery-orange color. Easy to grow as indoor/outdoor plants in containers. Low water use. Hardy to USDA zone 8.
