Description

A predominantely silver, uncommon variety of Alocasia with contrasting, dark green, almost black veining when mature. Native to Borneo.

  • Leaves are waxy, thick, textured and more matte than shiny.
  • When mature, leaves become more arrow shaped and the undersides are deep red.
  • Space saver because of its compact growth habit.

Growth pattern: Tuberous & compact

Water: Little and often. Keep moist but not waterlogged.

Ideal Position: North or east facing

Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.

Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
