The quintessential carnivorous plant. Charles Darwin called them the most wonderful plant in the world and were inclined to agree with him. This species is endemic to a small area of the Carolinas but has been selectively bred over the years to produce a huge number of unique and interesting cultivars with different colors and trap forms.

Dente is one of the older, classic flytrap cultivars and produces short, triangular shaped cilia that resemble shark teeth.
