• Looks: Large, bright, gold skin.
• Personality: Legendary sweetness and flavor.
• Facts of note: Reliable producer adapted to many climates. Allow the fruit to ripen to gold on the tree to experience the sweetest apples. Golden Delicious bakes well in addition to being a favorite for fresh eating. The variety was developed in the United States at the end of the 19th century.
• Pollination: Self-fruitful and best pollenizer for other varieties
