Persian Spire’ is one of the most narrow and columnar growing selection of parrotia persica found by some of our friends in Oregon. The tight narrow growing habit of Persian Spire’may reach 25 feet in height by only 8-10ft in width in 15 years. In the spring, the green leaves have a bright purple-red to deep purple border that is fairly wide and showy. The fall color onPersian Spire’ includes bright oranges, bright reds, and deep maroons.The bark provides an additional winter interest with grey. tan, andbrownflaking bark.
