Despite its small size, this upright cultivar packs a colorful punch with striking deep purple foliage and contrasting clusters of showy, pale pinkish white flowers in late spring. Like other Ninebarks, the 3-4′ stems of Tiny Wine develop exfoliating layers of bark on mature branches adding visual interest to the winter garden.
