Each bloom gets 2-2.5 inches across and is very floriferous. With blooms starting in late winter, Wedding Party™ ‘First Dance’ is known to bloom up to 6 weeks, and after that the spent blooms are equally as beautiful for weeks longer. Grown in part shade to full shade is where Helleborus are most at home. They prefer damp to moist soil conditions, great for woodland gardens. The dark green foliage is semi evergreen. You can trim back in the fall or leave the foliage for winter interest. Helleborus Wedding Party™ ‘First Dance’ is a deer and rabbit resistant perennial for the shade hardy down to zone 4.
